Line Dance Story

I have been line dancing for over 30 years.  I started at Sullivan's Trailways in Orlando, Florida. One of the first dances I learned was Swamp Thing--still love that dance.  My roots are in bar dances -- still great dances. Through friends and family found my way to the event dancers, dances and found new loves!!  I recently was encouraged to start teaching by my new home in Daytona Beach Shores, Florida. I'm teaching beginner level and up in Ormond Beach, Florida which I am enjoying. When the lockdown happened and so many people not able to dance (except on-line) I started thinking about doing a monthly social, so when people were ready to get back out there, there would be a place to go.  I found that place in South Daytona Beach, Florida.  I started my social in November of 2020 and it has slowly grown from there. We do improver level and up for 4 hours, one Saturday a month--generally the 3rd, but sometimes things happen and it changes. Everyone has been so great, helpful and accommodating with this and I hope to be able to continue for some time.
